Acceptance of the estimate and payment of a deposit will be taken as acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
Please ensure you have read and fully understood the following:
1. All invoices including labour charge, materials and parts are payable on receipt. All costs are subject to VAT at current rate
2. All vehicles are left at the customer’s own risk. Whilst fully insured by us during their time at restoration this is at additional cost should the customer wish to have agreed valuation / parts / interiors stored etc
3. TQR Cornwall accepts no responsibility for any personal items left in the vehicles while repairs are carried out.
4. Supplied estimates by TQR Cornwall are valid for 60 days from the date of estimate. We also reserve the right to defer to our non preferential rate should one be agreed and should any issues arise, resulting in a need too, such as withdrawal on non completion of works on a project or payment of invoices within the terms set.
5. Due to the comprehensive nature of the restoration process, it is difficult to determine an exact estimation, as often there can be unforeseen works found that cannot initially be accounted for, We will never carry out any extra works without discussion and clearance from the client.
6. Any additional work requested by the customer during or on completion of the restoration that is not included in the original estimate will be subject to further charges.
7. Any non refundable deposit must be paid to assure hourly rate at time of booking and material costs, no vehicle is considered booked into slot until the non refundable deposit is paid. Deposits are non refundable should terms and conditions not be met or slots be able to be refilled with enough notice period should your vehicle not arrive on its expected date.
8. It is a strict company policy that once all works have been completed and before the vehicle leaves the premises, any amounts outstanding are to be settled in full.
9. TQR Cornwall uses modern, quality products and primers to assist in postponing future corrosion issues. Under no circumstance does TQR Cornwall offer any warranty/guarantee or accept responsibility for future corrosion.
10. Classic car restoration is a timely process and under no circumstances will TQR Cornwall be rushed whereby the quality or standard of work may be compromised. We do not use materials that are suggested by the client that we do not use currently.We offer no guarantees to timescale or deadlines.
11. During the lifetime of the project, stage payments will be requested. To cover the cost of materials and Parts upfront. Failure to meet these payments will result in the project being halted and storage fees applied (see below storage fees)
12. Storage fees of £20.00 per day plus VAT will be applied on late payments or goods stored as agreed. (unless previously agreed). If after 30 days the outstanding invoice has not been cleared, or contact made by the customer then the storage rate will increase to £25 per day plus VAT without further notice.
13. If after a three-month period of time has elapsed without the owner making contact and TQR Cornwall has made every effort to contact the owner using the contact details provided, then TQR Cornwall shall take steps to remove the vehicle and recover losses without further notice.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUPERSEDE ANY PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THAT TQR CORNWALL RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY OR AMEND THEM AS AND WHEN APPROPRIATE.
